Before your upcoming visit to CaliBunga, take a look at our FAQs, where you’ll find the answers to some of our most commonly asked questions. The best way to guarantee a smooth and memorable day at our waterpark is to come prepared beforehand, so that when you arrive you can focus on the most important thing—having fun!
In order to maintain a safe environment for all CaliBunga guests and employees, the following items are prohibited at CaliBunga San Jose. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
- Weapons of any kind or objects that appear to be weapons (to include self-defense sprays, pocket knives, toy guns, squirt guns, water blasters, etc.);
- Recreational devices such as drones, remote-controlled toys, skateboards, scooters, shoes with built-in wheels, roller and inline skates;
- Alcoholic beverages, marijuana, drug paraphernalia or other illegal substances;
- Glass containers and plastic straws;
- Face masks worn by adults that are not medically required or religious in nature;
- Flags, banners, signs, or voice amplification devices used for the purpose of conducting demonstrations or to incite a crowd;
- Large markers, permanent pens and spray paint;
- Fireworks and other flammable items;
- Articles of clothing with offensive language or images.
You are able to redeem your Bring a Buddy Tickets either online or at our ticketing booth at the park.

Unfortunately, there won’t be Wi-Fi provided this season – look to see it next season!
Yes! You can come in and out of the park if you present your valid admissions ticket.
For the comfort and safety of all guests, smoking (including electronic cigarettes) is not permitted in the park.
You can bring foldable chairs to the park – umbrellas no. Pop–up tents, shade structures, are also not allowed.
We’ve added a number of large shade structures and umbrellas all around the park this season to enhance the relaxation and shade experience.
Generally, we’re open every day of the season from 11AM-6PM. Follow us on social media for the latest park hour updates!
Contact us about any dietary restrictions you might have, we’ll be able to accommodate.
Unfortunately, you are not able to bring your own floatation devices – however we do provide in-park life jackets.
Yes, we offer senior and military personnel discounts!
Yes! We have locker rentals available near the wave pool and restrooms by Oasis Retail.

Please note that CaliBunga is a family experience, therefore we ask that the appropriate swim attire be worn throughout your visit (i.e., no bathing-suit thongs, please). For the health & safety of all our guests, children in diapers are required to use waterproof protectors. Appropriate swim attire required, cotton shorts or shirts, sport shorts, cover ups, loose fitting articles, or similar items are not permitted on body slides. Swimming wear with buckles, rivets, or any sharp objects are not permitted on body slides. Footwear such as water shoes, sandals, or water socks are permitted, but not on certain slides. Check each ride’s entry sign for specific restrictions.
The city of San Jose sets rates and manages parking onsite for the Lake Cunningham area, including CaliBunga Waterpark.
CaliBunga is cashless. We accept all major credit cards and have a cash to card machine onsite to convert your cash if needed.

Payment plans are not currently available, but will be in the future. Check back for updated information.
CaliBunga does not allow guests to bring pop up style tents to the park. However, we have added lots of additional seating and shade to make your visit more comfortable.
Outside food and beverages are not allowed at CaliBunga, however guests with special dietary needs may bring outside food and beverage.
